Garrett Jamieson has been performing with THE BOOM since May of 2006. Originally from the prairies of Canada (Winnipeg), Garrett moved to Toronto to take comedy writing and performing at Humber College, which was completed with honors. Many of the sketches Garrett writes are dark and dirty and stem from his past jobs, which consist of working at a funeral home, dirt factory, and porno shop. Garrett describes his writing as being of a "smart soulless smutty satire style" (coincidently he also likes words that start with s). He has also written and performed for XM satellite radio. Some of Garrett's other interests consist of playing bass, banjo, drawing/painting.
